Remember that time when our biggest struggle was making it to church before the first hymn began? Or keeping the kids to a low rumble?

We celebrated the Reformation and filled our post-half-marathon-race bellies with carbs and beer like any good German Lutheran would.

We joked we'd better be singing "Built on the Rock the Church shall stand, Even when steeples are falling." Because they literally were.

Because we love our little girl, and because we believe God's Word does what it says it does - she was baptized 12 hours after she was born.
