Our 3-year-old has two great loves.
1. Playing church
(If you have several hours, I could show you a compilation of hours of videos of this kid playing church. He first started a couple months shy of age 2 and has been going strong since.)
2. Chopping corn silage
(What is usually a two-week season of corn silage is a year-round job in our house.)
So when it came to planning his birthday party, it was a pretty easy decision to settle on the corn silage theme (considering I didn't feel all that comfortable with making an altar cake, or a Bible cake, or a Communion cake...)
My family who does the actual farming and silage chopping was quick to point out that there should be silage in the wagon bed.
And that silage is green and not yellow.
But I say that we had a happy 3-year-old on his birthday who chops corn silage 365 days of the year so obviously we're not doing things correct anyway.
