Want to know something I don't like?
Soggy bottoms.
"Soggy bottoms" is a phrase my husband and I picked up from The Great British Baking Show. And I can assure you that Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry dislike soggy bottoms even more than I do, because it actually has to do with your apple pie goodies not seeping into your pie crust, making for a soggy bottom.
I'm sure no one finds it nearly as funny as we do, but we throw around "soggy bottoms" like it's going out of style. (And let's be real - it totally is.)
But in all reality, I don't like soggy bottoms.
Especially soggy tortilla bottoms.
Like the perfect chicken salad blended with just the right amount of salty nuts with sweet Craisins, all to be ruined with a soggy. tortilla. wrap.
That is one soggy bottom I don't like.
However, I do like meal prep and ready-to-go meals, so this poses a predicament for me.
AND THEN IN WALKS IN THE ROMAINE LETTUCE.
"Hi, romaine lettuce! Want to be the solution to my soggy bottom phobia?"
"Yes." It said to me.
Tortilla.
ROMAINE LETTUCE.
Sauce.
Filling.
Say it with me again:
"Tortilla.
ROMAINE LETTUCE.
Sauce.
Filling."
And badda-bing-badda-boom -- That soggy bottom is gone like a toddler freshly potty trained.
